The great work we have done
Balau Decks, Balustrade & Roof Supports
,
All Balau decking to the pool and upstairs deck with Balau balustrade and stainless steel cables tensioned between the roof supports. The supports are continuous from below the pool deck level and fixed to concrete footings.
Split-level Deck with Planter Divider
,
Split-level decking flowing to the decking around the pool with all Balau decking and cladding, the planter forms an interesting divider between the two deck levels with stairs on either side allowing easy flow to the pool.
Circular Decks at Evergreen Muzenberg
,
Circular decks with connecting walkways constructed over the retention pond, there are circular benches constructed in the centre of each circular deck - all Balau timber for longevity and minimal maintenance.
Free-standing Pergola
,
This landscape designer project in all Balau created both a beautiful and practical area for relaxation and included Blau benches / seats at either end of the hardwood deck.
Balau Pool Deck
,
With long lengths of decking it is imperative to keep the lines straight. This is achieved with a sub-frame structure and meticulous care when laying & fixing decking slats.
Boardwalks at Lake Michelle
,
Construction of all boardwalks which meander through the man-made ponds at Lake Michelle. These were supported into the ground though the plastic engineered linings finished with Balau hardwood decking.
Balau Pergola & Hardwood Decking
,
This Balau pergola is chemically fixed into the wall over the Balau pool decking which has lights set into the Balau edge-trim to the inside of the pool.
Jetty & Staircase
,
Staircases are set into the jetties to allow for easy access to water at varying water heights, bollards for securing boats etc add a nice finishing touch.
Cape Point Vineyards Circular Jetty
,
The jetty and long jetty-walkway have Garapa decking with Balau balustrade and stainless steel cables, all for longevity, strength & zero maintenance.
Free-standing Pergola
,
Balau hardwood pergola constructed over the hardwood deck with hardwood shade slats fixed with stainless steel screws. The shade slats allow air circulation and reduce the harshness of the sun.
